Dance Bochette

This special workshop will be taught by Hawaiian Dance Professional Beverly Dye, who is highly skilled and recognized for her expertise. This project is for a select group of dancers only, so please turn in your acceptance ASAP so that we may confirm with our choreographer and costume designer. Space is limited.

The dances learned will be performed at our annual Holiday Show on Saturday, December 12 (followed by events at the Burroughs Home and Edison Estates; dates TBA).

• Friday (10/16): 4-6:15pm (8-10 years)
• Friday (10/16): 6:30-8pm (Jr/Pre-Teen 11 years+)
• Saturday (10/17): 8:45-10:45am (Sr/Teen/Adult)
• Saturday (10/17): 1-2:30pm (Callback for all groups)

Weekly rehearsal will follow through the fall, times TBA.

Join us this Sunday, September 20, to celebrate the Edison & Ford Winter Estates’ newest Museum exhibit, “Music, Movies & Dance with Edison & Ford”. Part of the celebration is a community Contra Dance, during which dancers from Dance Bochette will perform dances of the period including Quadrilles and a Varsouvienne. Please join us at the Estates from 2-4pm this Sunday afternoon.
